Missions Aid International is a faith based Non-Governmental Organization registered in Nigeria for the purpose of providing solutions to the problem of poor, suffering or neglected communities in Nigeria and some other countries of Africa. We started in 1996 with a focus on providing a more Holistic solution to the humanitarian challenges around us and seeing to the welfare of neglected peoples. We are a human services arm of the Charismatic Renewal Ministries Inc.
As at May 2015 we had carried out projects in 65 communities in 25 states of Nigeria and in 24 communities in 8 countries of Africa. In these communities within and outside Nigeria, we provided Community Development Services, Free Medicare, Free Vocational Training and Empowerment and Social Welfare Interventions. Some of these communities in and outside Nigeria have also benefited from our follow up projects and multiple other programs.
We are humbled by the fact that over 10,000 young adults in Nigeria and some other African countries have been empowered vocationally over time through our projects as we strive to reflect our vision of touching lives, empowering communities and re-building nations…read more here
MISSIONS AID INTERNATIONAL : OCTOBER EVENT 2018
INFORMATION FOR VOLUNTEERS
The October Event program started in October 2004 with a free medical outreach to Ghana. Since then, this great idea of mobilizing professionals and resources to open up the unreached frontiers of Africa to the gospel of salvation has somewhat gone viral. Since 2004, the October Event train has entered ten countries: Ghana, Cameroun, Togo, Gambia, Benin Republic, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda. With our policy of engaging 2 countries simultaneously each year, six of these countries have enjoyed return visits during the same period. Also the October Event train has mobilized and trained over 350 project and missions volunteers comprising Medical Doctors, Vocational trainers, Pastors, Evangelists, Educationists, Career Missionaries, Youth Leaders and artisans. From amongst these 350 personnel, each October Event Project mobilizes between 60 and 100 volunteers who make themselves available at their own personal costs to ensure that our Lord Jesus never suffers a loss anywhere in the continent of Africa…read more here.
MORE ABOUT NEXT WEEK’S MISSIONS WEEK EVENT
My dear Pastor/Stakeholder,
Greetings. Permit me to bring to your attention, the arrangements we have made towards a successful CRM National Missions week for 2018. The theme of this year’s Missions week is: “Winning the War for Souls in African Countries”
This event is National for each CRM country as we expect the National Overseers to take responsibility for particular Programmes for the week in each country.
Also, local CRM pastors in Nigeria and other countries are expected to plan something that each church will do in celebration of the WEEK. The venue for the Missions week is each CRM local church. PURPOSE and GUIDELINES are attached here to enable the pastors and other individual CRM members to get really involved as we ought to.
Remember that the main expectation of the Missions Week is to catalyze attitudes towards Missions that will endure and not just a once-a-year thing.
On the last day of the Missions Week, that is, Sunday 8th April 2018 is a Special Missions Week offering Day. If your Pastor or Overseer forgets this, please remind him/her. Beyond the general offerings, however, the need for major strategic donations has been discussed in item “C” of the attached Purpose Paper.
The daily prayer guide is hereby attached. Please ensure the whole church prays it on Sunday 1st and Sunday 8th April and also at midweek events. Then encourage individuals to pray on their own during the week.
Also, the BIBLE STUDY OUTLINE for the Week is hereby attached. Though we have sent printed copies to your State, you may make photocopies to ensure your church members are well served.
Also, the MISSIONS WEEK JOURNAL has been sent to your State. Those who require online copies are to indicate, please.
Thank you so much for your encouragement and your partnership in this gospel that will save humanity, if we persevere.
Dr. EmmaJoe Nwachukwu.
