AKPANYA REJOICE PRAYER GUIDE
(Please join others to pray for this programme at all church meetings, family prayers and personal prayers. God will go ahead of us to make impossibilities possible.)
DAY ONE:
SUNDAY 11TH JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: THANKSGIVING
Ps 105:1-2 (NLT): Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. Let us thank the Lord for His infinite mercies and the great success given to us during the burial of our late Pastor, Ben Enema, and the outreach held in his honour.
Let us appreciate God for His goodness and His protection. Appreciate Him for the souls won.
b. Thank Him for sending us back to Akpanya for a harvest of souls and to start new CRM churches there. Thank Him in anticipation of the souls harvest and great healings and deliverances that will attend this Akpanya Rejoice programme.
DAY TWO:
MONDAY 12TH JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Rom 8:26: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. Let us plead for the help of the Holy Spirit as we get involved in the prayer for the programme. Ask the Holy Spirit to give us specific prayer points for this programme.
b. Let us plead for the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit in all the stages of the programme.
c. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead the local organizing committee in their search for befitting venues for the programme and for land and church halls.
d. Pray that the Lord will give us pastors that will shepherd the souls that will be harvested during this programme.
DAY THREE:
TUESDAY 13TH JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: The Ministers and other Brethren.
Mark 16:20: And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. Let us ask the Father, in the name of Jesus, to endue all the ministers He will be using in this programme with divine unction and wisdom.
b. Ask the Lord to confirm the words of His messengers with signs and wonders following.
c. That God will cause brethren to be willing to pray, give and go for this programme. 2 Chron. 17:6, 1 Chron. 29:5.
d. Pray for unity amongst the brethren for two cannot work together unless they agree. Amos 3:3.
e. Pray for strength and wisdom for the CRM General Overseer, Dr Cosmas Ilechukwu, Missions Aid Director, Dr. EmmaJoe Nwachukwu, the State Overseer of CRM, Kogi 1 and 2 and the local organizing committee. Ask the Lord to strengthen the bars of their gates.
DAY FOUR:
WEDNESDAY 14TH JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: Healing of the Land.
2 Chron. 7:14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. Let us go before God in humility and ask Him for mercy concerning all the evils done in Akpanya. Also plead for mercy concerning any agreement their fore fathers made with the kingdom of darkness.
b. Plead the blood of Jesus generally over the people, the land, the atmosphere, etc. for cleansing and consecration.
c. Ask God to cleanse and heal the land and people of every evil and curse that sin has brought upon them. Deut. 11:26-28.
DAY FIVE:
THURSDAY 15TH JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: Spiritual Warfare
Deut 12:2-3: Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. Thank the Lord for visiting the shrines and the witchcraft covens using His servants during last year’s programme.
b. Let us break all the evil agreements and evil transactions made by the founding fathers of Akpanya with Satan, in the name of Jesus.
c. Bind and dethrone the prince of Akpanya. The spirit of false religion, occultism, immorality, drunkenness, and witchcraft. Also bind the queen of heaven.
d. Let us command every satanic altar in Akpanya and it’s environs to become desolate; and all covenants being serviced by these altars, be revoked and broken, in the name of Jesus
DAY SIX:
FRIDAY 16TH JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: Spiritual Warfare Contd.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. Ask that the sword and the hand of the Lord be against the priests and priestesses ministering at all the satanic altars and high places in Akpanya and let their places be found no more, in the name of Jesus.
b. Silence every evil voice from all satanic altars and high places in the name of Jesus.
c. Command the stars, the sun, the moon and the wind to begin to fight against the diviners and astrologers, who have been using these elements against the move of God in Akpanya in the name of Jesus
DAY SEVEN:
SATURDAY 17TH JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: Attendance
Acts 2: 6,7: When they heard this noise, a large crowd gathered. They were all excited, because all of them heard the believers talking in their own languages.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. Let us ask the Father to send His reaper-angels to noise abroad our programme thereby drafting multitudes into this programme for their salvation, deliverance and healings.
b. Pray that each person will hear the Holy Spirit speaking his/her language and hence accept the message and be saved.
c. Pray God to touch the priests, nobles and all human agents of the devil to believe the gospel and surrender to God. Acts 19:18-19, Acts 8:9-13
d. Let’s pray that the youth will respond to the programme and sincerely surrender to the Lord Jesus.
DAY EIGHT:
SUNDAY 18TH JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: The Word.
Acts 8:6. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. That every word of God shall fall on a good soil and none shall return to Him void. Isaiah. 55:10-11.
b. For God to empower His word to convict many of sin and bring them to repentance.
c. That the word will be present to meet every need: Salvation, healing, deliverance, etc.
d. That the word will have a free course and entrance into the hearts of men and mix with faith in them to profit from the word.
e. Ask the Father to send us the word in-season through every minister thereby resulting in all round rest for everyone,
DAY NINE:
MONDAY 19TH JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: Resources/Equipment and the Weather.
Neh.2:4-8: Then the king said unto me, for what dost thou make request? So I prayed to the God of heaven. …And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. Pray God to supply every resource needed for the success of the program; especially funds. Ask God to touch the hearts of brethren so that they might give generously to the work.
b. Pray that all our equipment shall function together for good and perform well to the glory of God.
c. Pray that the weather will be obedient to God and favorable unto us. That God will program the weather each day to meet the need of the gospel.
d. Come against every rainmaker and weather manipulators from the kingdom of darkness; waste all their efforts to disturb the program with rain.
DAY TEN:
TUESDAY 20TH JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: The Catholics and the Muslims.
Acts 6:7: And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. Pray for Catholics in Akpanya and its environs and ask the Lord to have mercy upon their souls so that multitudes of them will be saved during this programme.
b. Pray for the salvation of Catholic Priests, Nuns, and the whole body of the clergy during this program.
c. Dethrone the hold of the queen of heaven in the hearts of the Catholics and plead that the refuge of lies holding them bondage be swept away by the light of the gospel.
d. Pray that the Muslims will encounter the life changing power of Jesus and know him as the only Saviour. Ask that the Lord will give them dreams and visions of Jesus.
DAY ELEVEN: WEDNESDAY 21ST JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: Journey Mercies and Protection.
Neh 2:7: I also said to him, “If it pleases the king, may I have letters to the governors of Trans-Euphrates, so that they will provide me safe-conduct until I arrive in Judah?.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. Pray for journey mercies for the brethren coming from different States.
b. Bring all the brethren and equipment under the safety and protection of the Almighty that no evil will come near us before, during and after the programme.
c. Rise up against every form of attack against the brethren.
d. Ask for calm and friendly political and religious Atmosphere in Kogi and Enugu States.
DAY TWELVE: THURSDAY 22ND JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: Converts.
Eph 1:16-18: I have never stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you wisdom to see clearly and really understand who Christ is and all that he has done for you. I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can see something of the future he has called you to share.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. Pray that all the converts should abide in the Lord and for every fruit of the program to be permanent. Acts 2:41-42, John 15:16.
b. Commend all the souls to the hands of God who is able to keep them from falling (Jude 24) and to sustain them and establish them in faith. John 17:12
c. Pray against the wolves that will want to rise against the converts. Acts 20:29
d. Let us cast out every evil power seeking to manipulate our new converts, gotten through this program, from being established in our churches.
DAY THIRTEEN:
FRIDAY 23RD JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: NIGERIA.
1 Tim 2:1-4: I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. Let us pray for all our leaders at the Federal, State and Local governments in this nation that they would come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and live a surrendered life to Him.
b. That the Lord will surround our leaders with righteous men and women who will give them sound advice and that the Lord will remove all the wicked men who masquerade as counselors and advisers from them.
c. Pray that there will be an end to kidnapping, Boko Haram and the menace of the Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria.
d. Pray that the Lord will protect our Godly leaders and their families from spiritual and physical harm.
DAY FOURTEEN: SATURDAY 24TH JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: Pastor Ben Enema’s family.
Acts 5:14: And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.
PRAYER POINTS:
a. Pray for his widow, that the Almighty God will keep, strengthen and provide for her.
b. Pray also for his children, that the Almighty Father will shield them from evil. Pray that they will grow to emulate the legacy their father left behind.
c. Pray for the salvation of the extended family.
DAY FIFTEEN:
SUNDAY 25TH JULY, 2021.
PRAYER FOCUS: GENERAL
a. Pray for the success of the general management of the camp, housing and feeding arrangements for brethren.
b. Pray for God’s favour on every side as the program kicks off tomorrow. Pray for the authorities in Kogi and Enugu States: Government, police, traditional Rulers; that they will all co-operate towards the success of the programmme.
c. Ask for specific encounters for as many as will participate in this Akpanya Rejoice project.
d. Let’s thank the Lord for the strength given unto us to labour in the closet. Let’s raise a praise offering to Him for the answers to all our prayer points and for the general success of the program.
