PURPOSE OF THE CRM MISSIONS WEEK AND GUIDELINES FOR A GOOD OUTING

(SUNDAY 1ST TO SUNDAY 8TH APRIL 2018)

1. PURPOSE
2. To help brethren to be more mission-minded in order to become better balanced as true Disciples of Christ.
3. To raise an army of full time missions’ volunteers for our increasing mission fields in Nigeria and African countries.
4. To raise men and women, who will regularly support, nay, backup the work of missions with their finances and other resources.
5. To raise men and women who will be committed to praying for the work of CRM missions, our converts, church plants, and Unreached People Groups in Africa and the rest of the world.
6. To encourage every CRM member to participate in missions by Going, Giving and/or Groaning (praying.)
7. To create an opportunity for every CRM member to bless a missionary and continue to show them love not only during the Missions Week but also now on a regular basis.
8. To create opportunity for adoption of missionaries and mission fields by individual CRM members or parishes or their families or businesses. Adoption does not involve too much: it involves praying for the adoptee and giving monthly financial support to the extent the adopter can afford.

NOTE: All adoptions or commitments made during the Missions Week are to be brought to the attention of the Missions Director, Dr. EmmaJoe Nwachukwu (08033314742) for administration and follow up purposes. Thanks.

1. WHAT TO DO DURING THE CRM NATIONAL MISSIONS WEEK.
2. Local CRM Pastors are expected to plan programs for each local CRM church in the spirit of the following guidelines released for that purpose. Meanwhile, individual CRM members are expected to key into this opportunity to serve the purpose of the Mission of Jesus Christ with or without the rest of the local church.
3. Ensure that you participate in the Bible study for the week. This will help you to understand God’s demands on you concerning the work of missions in African countries.
4. Pray for CRM missions leadership, mission fields and missionaries everyday of the week. The prayer points are included in the current Missions Week journal.
5. Visit a serving missionary in his/her mission field, and go with gifts.
6. Buy telephone recharge cards of any amount you can afford and dedicate it to calling some or all of our CRM missionaries (local and abroad). The telephone numbers of some of our CRM missionaries are published in the current Missions Week journal. Any omissions or correction of numbers should be reported to Pst. EmmaJoe on 08033314742.
7. Read all the materials to be distributed during the Missions Week including daily posts by Whatsapp and Facebook.
8. Participate in the Missions Week Special Offering on Sunday 8th April. The target of this Special Offering is N1000 or more per committed CRM member.

10. NOTE THE FOLLOWING URGENT MISSION ISSUES REQUIRING INTERVENTION

• CRM MISSION IN AFRICA: Alarming need of funding support by CRM Missionaries in African countries in the areas of children school fees and church accommodation. Each of these fields require direct adoption: Rwanda, Uganda, Liberia, Benin, Togo, South Africa, Gambia, Tanzania, sierra Leone, Cameroon and Mozambique
• CRM’S SCHOOL IN BADAGRY will commence educational activities in September 2018. The name of our school is Revival Heritage schools. This school project is a major stride as we are convinced that we must begin to make investments that would eventually support and sustain our other mission projects. Two wings of the building are decked and ready, but the 3^rd wing requires about N5 million to get decked and equipped for school commencement. Also the walling project around the school that we commenced alongside the Badagry Mission Outreach of March 2018 is now at 75% completion. About N3 million is required to complete it before the commencement of the school this September.
